Wheat varieties. Read more about them below. Please contact us if you would

Dixie 900
Solid performer year in and year out for Mid-South growing areas. This medium early
variety has resistance to fusaruim head scab, stripe rust and high yield potential across
all soil types. An added plus of resistance to septoria tritici and soil borne mosaic virus
makes this a solid choice for all Southern environments.
Dixie 989
Proven in Mid-South university trials, DX989 is adapted for all soil types. This medium-
early line is an excellent choice for later plantings due to excellent late and early season
tillering. DX989 has excellent resistance to leaf and stripe rust along with good tolerance
to soil borne mosaic virus, barley yellow dwarf virus, and septoria glume blotch. An
excellent choice for double cropping.
Dixie X940- New for 2009
New mid-season soft red winter wheat release. This line has a good straw strength, winter hardiness, and test weight adapted for Mid-South areas. A variety with excellent disease resistance to powdery mildew, septoria, soil borne mosaic virus, and barley yellow dwarf. Dixie 940 is a solid defender of striprust and leaf rust with tolerance to head scab.
Dixie 907
The latest release in the Dixie line up. This medium-early maturity variety is widely adapted
to the Mid-South and has a strong multi-disease resistance package. DX907 fights off
barley yellow dwarf virus, powdery mildew, septoria tritici, head scab, leaf and stripe rust
plus excellent tolerance to soil borne mosaic virus and B&E hessian fly. DX907’s excellent
tillering abilities make it an excellent choice for rice rotations and heavy soils.
Dixie 427 Proven Yield performance 2 Years Running
A new heavy tillering line with excellent potential on wet, poorly drained soils. Dixie 427 will
be a great fit for those growers who are in a rice rotation and need a stand alone variety
with medium height, resistance to stripe and leaf rusts along with scab and barley yellow
dwarf tolerance. Dixie 427’s ability to withstand late season infections of septoria leaf blotch
and powdery mildew will put money in the grower’s pocket.
Dixie 454 University Tested and Proven Yield Leader
A medium maturing variety with excellent straw strength. A strong disease package
will make Dixie 454 an excellent choice for all soil types. Resistant to soil borne mosaic virus,
head scab, powdery mildew, leaf rust, septoria, and glume blotch, along with moderate
resistance to stripe rust. Excellent choice for grazing and baling straw.
